Abstract

788,718. Portable containers; airtight lids. BRUUN, O. J. Sept. 5, 1956, No. 27153/56. Classes 66 and 125(3). A cup-shaped container 1 of folded metal foil is formed with an outwardly extending horizontal platform 1a having an upstanding edge 1b, and it is closed by a disc 2 of stiff sheet material resting on said platform 1a and a disc 3 of metal foil formed at its edge with an upstanding rim 3a of inverted U-section which is compressed on the upstanding edge 1b. Gutta percha or wax may be included between the rim 3a and the edge 1b and, or alternatively, beneath the disc 2 and the platform 1a. A pull tab can be secured to the disc 2.
