784,287. Testing fuel injection pumps. BOSCH GES., R. June 2, 1956, No. 17117/56. Class 102(1). A test stand for a fuel injection pump comprises a lower member 1 housing an electric motor 2 having a vertical drive shaft 5 coupled to a hydraulic pump 4 on an upper member 3 on which the pump to be tested is mounted and which is rotatable about the axis of the shaft 5 into either of two positions 180 degrees apart so that the cover plate 27 of the pump, which is driven by a hydraulic motor 9 mounted on the member 3 and hydraulically connected to the pump 4, may be brought to the front of the apparatus, the measuring glasses 17 being mounted on a member 15 projecting from the lower member 1 at the back of the apparatus.
