Abstract
Shaped articles, e.g. domed sheets, are made by heating at a temperature above 100 DEG C. and for a sufficient length of time to effect complete cross-linking a copolymer of methyl methacrylate, glycidyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid, wherein the glycidyl methacrylate and methacrylic acid are each present in an amount sufficient to cause cross-linking upon heat treatment and are together present in an amount not exceeding 20 per cent by weight of the copolymer, and then subjecting the cross-linked copolymer to a moulding operation while it is still hot. Suitable cross-linking temperatures are 100 DEG to 165 DEG C. Specification 681,031 is referred to.
