778,826. Gun mountings. BREDA MECCANICA BRESCIANA SOC. PER AZIONI. April 25, 1955 [May 25, 1954], No. 11811/55. Class 92. Relates to guns having remote control apparatus. According to the invention the gun is carried by a support 2 rotatably mounted upon a platform 5 which can be affixed by conventional means, such as bolts passing through the platform flange 10, to various mountings or carriages, the whole of the part 4 of the remote control apparatus which is in operative association with the gun being carried by the rotatable support 2. The electric cables 6 from the remote control 7 pass through the fixed platform 5 to hydraulic servomechanism 4 serving to actuate the setting of the elevation and training angles. The platform 5 may be fixed on a concrete or metal base or on an under-carriage 13, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown).
