778,517. Manicuring appliances. HEDBERG & CO. KOMMANDITBOLAG, H. E. Jan. 13, 1956 [Aug. 19, 1955], No. 1276/56. Class 81(2) A nail file comprises a handle portion 1, Fig. 1, a body portion 2, curved in transverse cross-section with a radius of e.g., 1 mm, as shown in Fig. 2, with abrasive material 3 on the concave surface and bent longitudinally. The file is formed with a nail-cleaning portion 5 and a cuticle tool 6, and is made of metal or plastic, the body portion being coated with a layer of abrasive grains, e.g. corundum, quartz or glass.
