777,203. Transistor amplifying circuits. COMPAGNIE GENERALE DE TELEGRAPHIE SANS FIL. Nov. 15, 1955 [Nov. 22, 1954], No. 32629/55. Class 40(6) In a push-pull amplifier in which the load is an operating coil such as a loud-speaker, the coil is connected directly to the transistor. By employing a centre-tapped voice coil 3, Fig. 2, a coupling transformer may be dispensed with. The supply 10 is connected directly to the centre tap 7 of the coil 3 which operates the loudspeaker 4. In a modification, Fig. 5, the operating coils, 3a, 3b are separated for D.C., the coil 3a being transferred to the emitter side of transistor 1. The load 3 may be a relay or motor.
