Abstract

776,573. Junction-boxes. BUSCH-JAEGER DURENER METALLWERKE AKT.-GES. Feb. 23, 1955 [April 24, 1954; Sept. 28, 1954], No. 5467/55. Class 38 (1). [Also in Group XXXVII] A water-tight casing 2 for a switch or junctionbox is made from elastic material, e.g. rubber, and has on one side projecting branches 3, 4, integral with the casing through which the cables pass. Another side of the casing is open and has flanges 6 clamped between a base-plate 5 and a closure plate 7. A packing disc 8 may be provided. In a modification the projecting branches are stepped so that by cutting off the outer stages cables of various sizes may be accommodated.
