774,312. Tractor power-lift mechanisms. HYMATIC ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Oct. 31, 1955 [Sept. 27, 1954], No. 27804/54. Class 79(1). [Also in Group XXIX] A valve arrangement for controlling a singleacting ram for raising and lowering implements on tractors comprises valves c, d opening out of a space a to which liquid is supplied. The valve c is loaded by a spring g controlled by a stirrup h and member j actuated by a cam i. To operate the ram the cam is actuated by a hand lever o to compress the spring and close the valve c. Pressure builds up in the space a and the valve d is forced open, so that oil can flow to the ram. To lower the implement, lever o is operated to withdraw the valve c from its seat, and, through a lever e and a screw f, to open the valve d and allow the oil to escape through valves d, c to a reservoir.
