Abstract
771,600. Tractor power-lift mechanisms. BROWN TRACTORS (ENGINEERING) Ltd., D. March 17, 1955 [March 19, 1954], No. 7996/54. Class 79(1). [Also in Group XXV] In the upper link a of a three-link tractor implement hitch carrying a ball at each end, the ball c at the rear end has two bores at right angles to one another, the bore d being dimensioned to receive the hitch pin for an implement suitable for use with a tractor of Category 1 of British Standard Specification 1841 : 1951 and the bore e being dimensioned to receive of the hitch pin for an implement suitable for use with a tractor of the Category 2, and the ball b at the front end has either a single bore bs as shown to receive the tractor hitch pin or two bores at right angles to one another, the latter bores being dimensioned, respectively, for tractor hitch pins of the Categories 1 and 2. It is stated that the link would be suitable both for either Category of tractor and for implements designed for use with either Category of tractor.
