Abstract

770,996. Earth-working apparatus. PANAFRICAN INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Feb. 2, 1954 [June 5, 1953; Jan. 12, 1954], No. 3029/54. Class 68 (1). A scraper attachment for a tractor comprises a frame 1 on which is mounted two scraper blades 16, each of which may be independently adjusted relative to the frame in three planes, namely, a vertical plane, a horizontal plane, and a plane at right angles to each of the said other planes. To permit such adjustments the supporting structure between each blade and the frame has three pairs of interengaging surfaces 20, 21, 27, 28 and 31, 32, and through each pair of surfaces passes a clamping bolt. The axis of each bolt is at right angles to the axes of the other two bolts. Each supporting structure is so mounted on the frame that, when not clamped thereto, it may be adjusted laterally thereof.
