[Also in Group II] Solids retained by a screen 2 are removed by teeth 10 on a drum 7 and are comminuted by engagement of the teeth with notches 11 in a comb 8. Each set of teeth rotates in the groove formed by one of the bars 2. The drum and comb may be reciprocated as a unit along the bars 2. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 661,443.
