Class 99(1) A spraying lance or boom for horticultural &c. purposes comprises sections 1, 2, 3 slidable within one another and adapted to be secured in adjusted positions by collets 10 on larger sections 1, 2 being contracted to grip smaller sections 2, 3 by hand nuts 13 engaging tapered threads 12, The end of a smaller section is provided with a cup leather so as closely to engage a larger section. A liquid supply pipe is attached at the end 5 and a discharge rose at the end 6.
