764,123. Releasable fastenings. LOVETT, S. E. Feb. 7, 1955 [Jan. 13, 1955], No. 1033/55. Class 44. [Also in Group XIV] A holder for the head of a toothbrush comprises a base B, mounted on a wall &c. and having, at the lower end, spaced, forwardly projecting lugs B<SP>3</SP>, B4, and side members A, C hinged to the base at B<SP>1</SP>, B<SP>2</SP> and together forming a container for a toothbrush head resting on the lugs, the meeting edges of the bases of the side members being shaped to fit round the neck of the toothbrush and the side members being opened and closed by pressure of the neck against the parts P, X and K, respectively, of the bases of the side members. The holder may be mounted by a rubber suction disc and the side members are retained in closed and open position by engagement of projections M<SP>1</SP>, M<SP>2</SP> from the bases of the side members with the sides and undersurfaces, respectively, of the lugs.
