Class 40(5) In a pulse frequency ratemeter the integrating circuit comprises a condenser shunted by a meter and a potential variaable resistor, e.g. forwardly conducting rectifier, such that the voltage across the resistor and meter varies as the logarithm of the meter current, and thus the circuit time constant varies inversely as the current.
