759,761. Spring suspensions. LEYLAND MOTORS, Ltd. June 17, 1954 [March 17, 1953], No. 7360/53. Class 108 (2). [Also in Group XXXI] In an omnibus or like public passenger vehicle the forward portions 4 of the frame longitudinal members are interconnected by a transverse member 6 having upswept end portions 7 bolted to the portions 4. The portions 7 carry upper and lower front wheel suspension members 8, 11, shock absorbers 16 being disposed between the upper extremities of the member 6 and the members 11. The members 11 are connected to longitudinal torsion springs anchored to the frame longitudinal members. Specifications 759,760, 759,762 and 759,763, [all in Group XXXI], are referred to.
