Abstract

[Also in Group XXXI] A mounting member 2 for fixing a pannier 1 or other member on a cycle frame has a screw-threaded hole 3 for engaging on a screw-threaded stem on the cycle frame, a clip 4 or 9 adapted to be fixed on the frame 1 and a screwed pin 7 or 10 on the clip to which the member 2 is fixed in an angular position of adjustment. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the clip 4 is clamped to the pannier frame 1 in any angular position by a bolt 6. The screwed pin 7 is fixed to a boss 6 on the clip 4. The member 2 has a hole for receiving the pin 7 which is clamped thereon by a wing nut 8. In a modification a clip 9 (Fig. 1) has a screwed pin 10 for engaging a hole in the mounting member 2. The member 2 is adjustable about an axis at right angles to the angular adjustment of the clip.
