757,107. Grease Guns. NEUMAN, C. J. Nov. 25, 1954 [Dec. 4, 1953], No. 33767/53. Class 102 (1). A grease gun comprises a high-pressure cylinder 14 reciprocated by a lever 9 on a stationary piston 16 which controls the inlet ports 19 in the cylinder which is also provided with an outlet fitted with a delivery valve. A low-pressure piston 15 slides in a low-pressure cylinder 20 and on the high-pressure cylinder 14 and is pressed by a spring 24 against a stop 22 on the cylinder 14 ; passages 22A in the stop permits passage of grease. The cylinder 20 is provided with an inlet valve 27. Reciprocation of the lever 9 causes grease to pass through both cylinders and the spring 24 permits piston 15 to move from the stop 22 to maintain the grease in cylinder 20 under pressure. The parts are carried by a plate 1 which can be attached to a container 4 either for the grease or used as an enclosure for a grease container ; a stand 8 is provided for the container 4.
