Class 138(1) An improvement in a modification of the invention described and claimed in the parent Specification consists in one pair of the platform supporting wheels on one side of the axis of the brush shaft being driven by a separate electric motor or internal combustion engine, and the other pair of wheels on the other side cf the shaft axis being steerable. A wheel of each pair on the side of the platform remote from the brush shaft may be adjustable by a screw or like mechanism, to incline the platform so that the brushes may engage the upper inclined rear surface of an omnibus. Distance wheels may be mounted on either side of the cowling to prevent excessive frictional resistance between the brushes and a vehicle surface.
