752,667. Springs. SVENSKA ROTOR MASKINER AKTIEBOLAG. Feb. 10, 1954 [Feb. 13, 1953], No. 3895/54. Class 108 (3). [Also in Group XXIV and XXV] A spring 32 of the annular washer type has inner and outer edge portions 38, 36, which are each bent alternately in both axial directions away from the plane of the washer to provide an undulated surface along each edge. Thus on compression of the washer, resiliency depends upon torsional stresses. Fig. 2 shows the spring in a developed view. It is described as applied in spacing the plates of a clutch (see Group XXIV), and for this purpose it has spline-engaging projections 34.
