750,746. Cellular glass. PITTSBURGH CORNING CORPORATION. May 12, 1954, No. 13863/54. Drawings to Specification. Class 56. In the preparation of vitreous cellulated material such as cellular glass or silica from a pulverulent batch including a gassing agent, before the batch is sintered and cellulated it is divided into small segments. The batch may be placed in a mould and then levelled; the surface, at least, is then scored by impressing a gridlike tool thereon. The tool may be pressed right through the material whereby the segments are entirely separated from one another.
