[Also in Group VIII] An additional welt 11, knitted by rotation, is knitted integrally with a seamless stocking or is subsequently attached at a point below the usual welt 10 and so extends that its upper edge is lower than that of the usual welt. The additional welt may extend inside or outside of the stocking. The usual welt may also be separately formed and subsequently attached to the stocking.
