746,737. Tipping vehicles. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. Nov. 10, 1954 [Dec. 2, 1953], No. 32547/54. Class 108 (1). The floor of a tipping vehicle is formed by a load-receiving plate 14 spaced from the backup plate 15 by partitions 16, 17, which may be secured to either plate and which form passage. ways for hot fluid to prevent accumulation of material in the body due to freezing conditions. The hot fluid may also pass through the side walls. The space within the partitions 17 adjacent the centre of the body accommodates an impact absorbing means such as a wood block 21.
