740,227. Lay figures. WIDELUND, G. L., and WIDELUND, G. K. R. April 9, 1954 [April 13, 1953], No. 10449/54. Class 52(5). [Also in Group XVIII] A display leg for a stocking is shaped as shown and provided with grooves 14, 21 to receive the clamping yoke of a display stand and the seam of the stocking respectively. The leg may be provided with a recess 13 for receiving the upper portion of the stocking. The toe portion may be formed with a recess having a depth decreasing in stages from the tip to receive the stretched toe tip of the stocking which is inserted therein and secured by an adhesive strip.
