Abstract
733,259. Lacing fastenings. SCHYNDZIELORZ, H. April 9, 1953 [April 9, 1952; March 6, 1953], No. 9681/53. Class 43. A lacing fastening, particularly for shoes, but which can be used for tying bags, tents &c. consists of a length of tying lace 7, Fig. 1, having at one end a stop, e.g. a collar 4<SP>11</SP>, Fig. 3, of a tube 4 secured to one end of the lace, introduced from underneath into an end eyelet 10 until the collar abuts the eyelet, the lace being then threaded through the series of eyelets as shown until the last pair of eyelets have been occupied, the free end of the lace being then fixed from underneath to the stop, as by pushing an eyelet formed in the free end of the lace over the collar 4<SP>11</SP>, to form a closed band. The tube 4 Fig. 3, carries at its upper end tongues 4<SP>1</SP> adapted to be bent over in order to secure the tube in the eyelet 10.
