A member 2 for filling up the roller bearing points of roller mills and other openings in machine housings is preferably unmachined and abuts against adjustable screwed studs 3 mounted on the machine housing 1, the member 2 carrying a bridge formed with two arms 5 pivotally secured thereto by means of a spring- influenced screw-threaded bolt 6 having a knob 8. The machine housing has recesses 9 to facilitate insertion of the bridge and one or more stops 10 for limiting rotation of the bridge.
