729,296. Two-part couplings.- BELLING & LEE, Ltd. Dec. 31, 1953, No. 36373/53. Class 38 (1). A stirrup 11, pivoted at 13A on the pin-carrying socket 1 of a plug-and-socket coupling, disengages the plug 2 from the socket when it is tilted into the position shown, by engagement of lugs 23 with the plug. When the plug and socket are fully engaged, the stirrup is held in the vertical position by engagement of the end of a screw 15 with a surface 21 on the plug. A cable-receiving clip 19 secures the cable in an aperture in a bracket 16 on the plug.
