In the motor-vehicle transmission system shown in Fig. 1 of Specification 729,041, the suction-controlled switch 60 is operated by a. diaphragm and is mounted on the casing of the valve 54, with the diaphragm chamber* in permanent communication with that chamber in the valve casing to which the clutch servomotor 25 is connected, so that the switch 60 is closed whenever the servo 25 is operative.
