727,227. Band saw blades. ETABLISSEMENTS C. D. Nov. 9, 1953 [Nov. 17, 1952], No. 30974/53. Drawings to Specification. Class 145. A pre-tensioned saw blade is provided with equi-distant holes centrally of the width of the blade to enable it to conform more easily to the transverse curvature of the driving pulleys, to assist cooling and receive sawdust that might clog the teeth. The holes may be circles, or ellipses with the major axis transverse to the length of the blade, and the diameter, or length of the major axis, is not more than one-third of the blade width.
