Abstract

727,178. Ridge tents. BUCK & SONS, Ltd., E. R. Dec. 1, 1953 [Dec. 2,1952], No. 30508/52 Class 20 (1). A ridge tent has a detachable bell end c attachable by lacing to a ridge centre-section a, an extensible ridge pole d, and a closing flap i adapted to separate the section a from the end c. A pole e supports the extended pole d and poles g and d support a fly-sheetf which is attached at one half of one side to the section a and at the corresponding half of the other side to the end c. When the pole d is not extended, the end c may be laced to the section a, or alternatively may cover a fixed bell end b of the tent, the sheet f covering the section a.
