Abstract
709,704. Pipe joints. MIAG VERTRIEBSGES. March 22, 1950 [Oct. 1, 1948], No. 7116/50. Class 99 (1). [Also in Group XXX] A hinged joint for a pipe for conveying solids comprises a bend having telescoping parts 1, 2 of which the inner part 2 carries a supporting framework 5 which is pivoted at 7 to a bracket 9 on the part 1. The bend 1 forms the end of a pipe 11, hinged at 10, and supported by a rod 8, hinged at 13, and hingedly connected at 12 to the framework 5. A pipe 4 is freely suspended by a flexible tube 3 from the bend 2.
