Class 106 (1) A register or accumulator for electronic computing machines comprises means for receiving electric pulses coded to represent any particular quantitative value with its sign indication, means responsive to such pulses for producing a unique state of energization of the first means dependent upon the quantitative value and the sign indication of the received pulses, and control means for the pulse-responsive means arranged to receive other electric pulses and responsive to them to cause the transmission of pulses coded to correspond in quantitative value and sign indication to the unique state of energization. The detailed description is identical with that of Specification 709,407 but the claims differ. Specifications 709,408 and 709,409 also are referred to.
