Class 16 A manifolding device includes an original sheet 15, and a transfer sheet 7 and a record sheet 19 removably secured together by means of either (a) a pressure responsive adhesive, (b) a thermoplastic cement, or (c) a low-adhesive cement 9, the transfer sheet 7 projecting below the edges of the record and original sheets at 5 and the latter two sheets projecting above the edge of the transfer sheet at 15 and 19. The adhesive 9 may be applied along the whole edge of the transfer sheet or at spaced intervals. The transfer sheet may be readily detached by grasping the part 5 in one hand and the parts 15, 19 in the other. A number of such assemblies may be joined together by either (a) providing the transfer sheets with adhesive on their parts 5 and joining them or (b) by providing their upper edges with adhesive on both sides. In the case of a plurality of such assemblies one or more of the record sheets may be made to project beyond the upper edges of the remainder so that the assembly may be separated into one or more units.
