706,837. Gauging departure from standard form. TAYLOR, TAYLOR & HOBSON, Ltd. June 27, 1950 [May 20, 1949], No. 33073/52. Drawings to Specification. Divided out of 706,763. Class 106 (2). [Also in Group XXXVIII] The invention relates to apparatus for determining the roundness and truth of parts wherein detecting means are rotated round the test part which is held stationary. The description is identical with that contained in Specification 706,763, but the claims are directed to the means for making fine adjustment to the radial position of the detecting device relative to the axis of rotation while its spindle is rotating.
