Class 108(1) A toe-plate truck 10 provided with wheels 25 running on an axle 38 has a castor wheel 31 mounted on the plate member '30 pivoted to a pin 36 parallel with the axle. The truck body is supported from the upper side of the plate member 30 by means of a telescopic strut 32 provided with a locking device to enable the inclination of the truck body to be varied.
