705,106. Hot-plates. REVO ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Nov. 3, 1952 [Nov. 2, 1951], No. 25630/51. Class 126 ,A hot-plate in an electric cooker is mounted in a cradle having a number of upstanding arms with outwardly directed extremities engaging the edge of the cooker hob surrounding an aperture so that the cradle depends from the arms, and is supported on pins upstanding from the cradle. A step 3b surrounds the aperture in the cooker hob 3, and upwardly projecting arms 4a provided on a ring 4 have outwardly directed lugs 4b which engage recesses 3c in the step 3b. Screw pins 5 in the ring 4 enable hot-plates of differing types to be levelled with the hob 3, and ring 7 of inverted channel cross section closes the gap between the hob 3 and the hot plate. The outer wall of the ring 7 is shorter than the inner wall, so that it rests on the step 3b, while the inner wall depends between the arms 4a and the hot-plate unit 6.
