Abstract
704,718. Glass tubing. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Feb. 24, 1953 [March 12, 1952], No. 6427/52. Class 56 Glass tubing of four-cornered cross section is formed from tubing of circular section 1 by placing the latter in a mould comprising movable upper and lower portions 3, 4 and fixed centre portions 5, 6. The tubing is made plastic by surrounding it with an asbestoscovered heating coil 2 as in Specification 641,588.
