Abstract

A soldering or brazing alloy contains from 15.0 per cent. to less than 24.0 per cent. of Ag, more than 30.0 per cent. but less than 40.0 per cent. of Cu and the remainder Cd and Zn with not less than 0.1 per cent. of each of these elements. The Cd and Zn are preferably each within the range 10.0-27.0 per cent. The alloy may also contain 0.5-3.0 per cent. Sn.
