Abstract
700,479. Fencing. WOLSELEY SHEEP SHEARING MACHINE CO., Ltd., and MACNAMARA, H. J. July 23, 1952 [July 24, 1951], No. 17457/51. Class 45 A post 2 for electric wire fencing has a clamp 5 slidably mounted on it, through which passes laterally of the post a bracket arm 4 carrying an insulator 3 the arm being adjustable on the post both vertically and laterally and secured rigidly to the post by the clamp after adjustment. The clamp is U-shaped and is arranged to embrace the post 2. The arm 4 passes through coaxial holes in the end of each leg of the clamp and is clamped against the post by means of a screw 10 which passes through an aperture in the base of the U-shaped clamp and through a nut 8 positioned in its base. Specification 682,715, [Group XXXVI], is referred to.
