Plates 16, 17 constituting the upper wall of the outlet of the flow-box of a Foundrimier paper making machine are articulated at 16a, 17a and adjusted at 22, 23, local adjustment at spaced positions across the machine flexing the upper lip ; the slice-assembly sliding on guides 12 and on an inclined plate 14 and having rubber sealing-strips 28 and longitudinal adjustment 19. A flow-evener roll 27 is positioned adjacent the slice-assembly.
