Abstract

696,735. Bracelets. BAILLOD, J. U. Oct. 22, 1951 [Oct. 20, 1950], No. 24606/51. Class 43. [Also in Group XXV] A watch bracelet, comprises a flat strap 1 formed with transverse slots 5 through which a flexible band 6 is threaded to provide a series of alternate loops through any one of which a headed pin 7 may be inserted with its ends projecting on each side of the strap to engage hooks 10a at the ends of one side of a securing-plate 9. The strap 1, secured at one end 2 to a watch bar 3, is looped at 4 around the other watch bar 3 and its free end 8 secured around a pin 11 carried by the plate 9, the side flanges 10 of the latter being cut away to form the hooks 10a at the side opposite to that carrying the pin 11. To adjust the fit of the fastened bracelet the pin 7 is removed from one loop between the slotted strap 1 and band 6 and reinserted in another loop. The ends of the band 6 are stitched to the strap.
