Abstract

695,600. Bearings. NO-SA.G SPRING CO. (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd. (No-Sag Spring Co.). Feb. 26, 1952 [May 18, 1951], No. 11663/51. Class 12 (i). A swivel device comprises a pair of superimposed plates 1, 2 rotatably connected by a pivot pin 5 and held spaced by a plurality of balls 8 which run in complementary grooves 7 in the plates 1, 2 and are angularly spaced by a cage in the form of an endless loop 9. The cage is of substantially square formation and a ball 8 is located in each corner thereof. The invention is applicable to swivel chairs, vehicle bogies or the like.
