693,979. Wagon covers. CATES, B. L. July 10, 1951 [July 10, 1950], No. 17190/60. Class 103 (ii). A cover for a goods carrying vehicle comprises a sheet A, stiffened at its free end by a batten E and mounted on a spring-loaded roller B and passed under a jockey roller D. Cords F are secured to the batten E to enable the cover to be withdrawn from the roller B and they are wound on cleats G on the vehicle body. Spring-loaded hooks H, fitted to the sides of the body and normally fastened by studs on the body, engage in eyelets J on the cover when it is extended.
