Abstract

682,963. Suspending curtains. FRENCH & SONS, Ltd., T. Nov. 1, 1950 [June 4. 1949], No. 28247/49. Class 52(v) A curtain rail glider has a rail engaging surface of textile fibrous material. In one form the glider is made from a strip of metal a enclosed in a woven sleeve b and formed at the ends with a notch c to receive a stirrup wire. The strip is bent as shown in Fig. 2 and provided with an end clip k to prevent fraying of the material. In another form the metal strip has holes to receive the ends of a stirrup q and is bent as shown in Fig. 8.
