Class 5(ii) Supports for perches and slatted floors in poultry houses and the like consist of wire-mesh having at least three horizontal strands 14, 15, 16, connected by transverse strands 11 which are bent through an angle. Recesses for perches orslats are thus formed, the perches resting on the strands 15 and abutting against the house-wall to which the strands 14, 16 are clamped or welded. In a modfication, slats rest between the rounded or inverted-V tops of upright strands, the four horizontals being secured to end-beams.
