[Also in Groups XXXV and XXXVI] A resistance made of semi-conducting material having a Perovskite structure (see Group XXXVI) is surrounded by a coil and the conductivity of the resistance changes in dependence on the strength of the magnetic field developed by the coil. Thus, with the resistance in one circuit and the coil in another the current through the resistance may be controlled by varying the current through the coil.
