Abstract
675,877. Ploughshares. TESSERON, J. P., TESSERON, R., and TESSERON, J. Oct. 4, 1949 [Oct. 6, 1948; July 21, 1949; Sept. 16, 1949]. Nos. 25539/49, 25540/49 and 25541/49. Class 6(i) The stem 1 and share 2 of a plough are forged as a single piece, cutting edges 4 and a plough point 7 being detachably secured to it. The mouldboard 3 is also detachable. The cutting-edge plate 4 has straight or serrated edges and is of approximately parallelogram shape so that it may be reversed when worn. In the ridging plough shown in Fig. 8, detachable wearing-plates 11, 12 are superimposed on the shares 19 and the cutting-edge plates 20, 21 are mounted between these plates and the shares. The sides of the plough-point 7 are slotted to receive the front edges of the plates 20 and 21 and the share may carry a detachable heel-piece 32.
