675,315. Marking animals. EAST ANGLIAN PROPERTY CO., Ltd., and ENGELSE, A. D. Dec. 15, 1950 [Jan. 12, 1950], No. 859/50. Class 73. A marking device for animals comprises two arms 5, 6, and a resilient finger 14. A barbed point 16 enters a hole 8 of such size and position that the point is displaced sideways on passing therethrough and then springs back thus preventing its withdrawal. A casing 9 is provided to cover the point and it may contain a coil spring acting as additional means preventing withdrawal of the finger point. When closed the arms are near to be able to slip over the joint of a chick's wing.
