674,875. Magnets. ROLA CELESTION, Ltd. May 15, 1950 [Feb. 14, 1949], No. 4036/49. Class 35. A permanent magnet structure, e.g. for loud - speakers, comprises a cylindrical permanent magnet 1, a cup-shaped iron yoke 3 closed at its mouth by a plate 4 having a gap 8 for the coil and a washer 9 which rests against a sleeve 11 of non-magnetic material so as to constrain the magnet 1 against axial movement. The sleeve 11 may be formed by wrapping the magnet 1 with an adhesive tape, or it may be of rubber or brass or plastics. Specification 456,154 is referred to.
