Abstract

674,205. Kinematograph apparatus. PAILLARD SOC. ANON. Feb. 22, 1950 [March 23, 1949], No. 4528/50. Class 97 (i). In an intermittent feed mechanism a claw 10 is carried on an arm 9 pivoted at 32 to a lever 7 pivoted at 8 and held by a spring in contact with a pair of.identical cams 4, 5 which produce the feed movements of the claw and between which is mounted a further cam which produces the film engaging movements. In the form shown, the cams 4, 5 are larger than the cam between them and so form a groove in which arm 9 is held by a spring blade 28 secured to the lever 7 and acting on a projection from the arm 9 near the pivot 32. Contact of the lever 7 with the cams 4, 5 is through a shoe 6 and is secured by a spring blade 17 slotted at 22 to provide spaced fingers 23, 25 which engage radial projections from the arm 7. The other end of this blade is secured in a boss 18 which is rotated, to produce the required torsion in the spring, and locked by a set screw 20.
