670,561. Electrode materials. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Oct. 26, 1946 [Nov. 7, 1945], No. 31809/46. Divided out of 670,554. Class 39 (i). A secondary electron-emitting electrode has a coating at least 10<SP>-4</SP> inches thick comprising a refractory oxide, e.g. magnesium oxide, aluminium oxide, or beryllium oxide, in which is dispersed a metal which is removed by electron bombardment at least as readily as the oxide, e.g. gold, silver or copper. The description is substantially identical with that of Specification 670,607. Specifications 601,966 and 670,554 also are referred to.
